Programming experience with the following languages/technologies to build your website,
database, or personal software application:
- HTML - Hypertext Markup Language - the predominant markup language
for web pages.
- Classic ASP / ASP.NET - Active Server Pages - Microsoft's server-side
script engine for dynamically-generated web pages.
- JavaScript - a scripting language most often used for client-side
web development.
- C#.NET (pronounced "C-sharp") - an object-oriented programming
language from Microsoft that aims to combine the computing power of C++ with the
programming ease of Visual Basic. C# is based on C++ and contains features similar
to those of Java.
- VB.NET (Visual Basic .NET) - an object-oriented programming language
from Microsoft. It is the .NET version of the Visual Basic (VB) programming language.
Like all .NET languages, VB.NET uses the Common Language Runtime (CLR) for program
execution. VB.NET is substantially different from traditional Visual Basic, which
has been the most popular language for developing Windows applications.
- XML (Extensible Markup Language) is a flexible way to create common
information formats and share both the format and the data on the World Wide Web,
intranets, and elsewhere.
- CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) - a stylesheet language used to describe
the presentation of a document written in a markup language.CSS is used to help
readers of web pages to define colors, fonts, layout, and other aspects of document
presentation.
- SQL (Structured Query Language) - pronounced "sequel", is a language
that provides an interface to relational database systems.
- Adobe Acrobat - a family of application software by Adobe Systems
whose applications use Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF) as their native file
format. Most often used for customizeable and fillable forms.
